    Browse internet without data charges

Over 85% of the world’s population lives in areas with existing cellular coverage, yet only about 30% of the total population accesses the internet. Affordability and awareness are significant barriers to internet adoption for many.

A year ago, Mark Zuckerberg had announced Internet.org, Facebook’s effort to bring affordable internet access to everyone in the world. This would widely cover access to free basic internet services – tools for health, education, jobs and basic communication. In last one year, while working with mobile operators around the world to deliver on this goal, Facebook has already helped 3 million people access the internet who had no access before.

Today, Facebook has introduced the much awaited Internet.org app. With this app, people can browse a set of useful health, employment and local information services without data charges. The app aims to bring more people online and help them discover valuable services they might not have otherwise.

Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg shared on his facebook page,

Today, I’m excited to announce the launch of the Internet.org app in Zambia. Right now, only 15% of people in Zambia have access to the internet. Soon, everyone will be able to use the internet for free to find jobs, get help with reproductive health and other aspects of health, and use tools like Facebook to stay connected with the people they love.

This is a big step forward in achieving the mission of Facebook and Internet.org. We’re looking forward to bringing free basic services to more countries soon.

internet-org-app11The Internet.org app will be available first to Airtel subscribers in Zambia and we’ll continue to improve the experience and roll it out to other parts of the world. Through the Internet.org app, Airtel customers in Zambia will have basic access to:

    AccuWeather
    Airtel
    eZeLibrary
    Facebook
    Facts for Life
    Google Search
    Go Zambia Jobs
    Kokoliko
MAMA (Mobile Alliance for Maternal Action)
    Messenger
    Wikipedia
    WRAPP (Women’s Rights App)
    Zambia uReport
Airtel customers in Zambia can access these services in the Internet.org Android app, at www.internet.org, or within the Facebook for Android app.

Viewtechworld we have separate technology in the world
There are many quite good smartphones out there that lack an external SD card slot. The manufacturers would defend themselves by boasting about it having either Cloud storage service or enough board storage but it always keeps the users wishing for more space. So for such people, there’s a USB specification that expands the memory of your phone called as “USB on the Go (OTG)”. It gives more space by plugging in a flash drive. So, let’s take look at the how you can expand the memory of an “un-expandable” smartphone/tablet.

Procedure to Expand memory of UnExpandable Android Phone:
    1. You will need the USB OTG cable, since you can’t plug in all your Android    devices directly via USB cables. You can get it easily from the market.
    2. So next time if you’re planning a trip, just connect an external flash drive with the OTG USB cable and you can watch the movies, listen songs present on the flash drive etc.
    3. Connect the USB OTG cable into the flash drive and plug it in your phone’s Micro USB. If you’re in LUCK the phone will jump into USB host mode.

    4. Every device as of now does not support the USB OTG functionality. But if your device doesn’t, you can try rooting your device to add support. A very popular app for that Kingo Android Root.

    5. So next time when you buy a smartphone with no expandable memory card slot, make sure that it has a support for USB OTG. Let us know in the comments section if you face any problem in the process of USB OTG

    Send free international message

WhatsApp is a cross-platform messaging app that allows users to communicate over Internet data or Wi-Fi without having to pay for SMS. If you have a friend who's in another country, you can also text them free of additional charges. This article will explain how to do so.

Add contacts. This should not be done in the WhatsApp application, but on your phone directly. Enter the + sign, then the country code, followed by the contact's full phone number. For a full list of country codes, click here.
    • Do not include any leading 0's or characters separating the digits. For example, a valid China number would be +8613130423852.
    • If you do not enter a contact in the right number format, you will not be able to reach them properly with WhatsApp.
    • Local in-country contacts can be saved normally, with the area code (if applicable) and the phone number. No country number is required. Do not include any calling card numbers or leading 0's.

    2
Launch WhatsApp from your smartphone. If you added the international contact properly, it will appear in the Contacts screen.

    3
Tap on the contact's name. If they have a WhatsApp account, you can now send them a text/media message or broadcast message. You can share unlimited photos, videos, and other media just like with a local contact. If they do not have a WhatsApp account, you'll need to invite them to WhatsApp.

Read someone’s Facebook messages using Graph API

Guys Please dnt try to do any illegal  process

Please Read this before you proceed: I’ve written this tutorial just for the purpose of awareness and show you the amazing power of Facebook Graph API.  It has nothing to do with any un-ethical means. Please don’t use any of the information provided below for any misuse. If you do, you are solely responsible for the consequences that it causes.”

So, let’s start with a basic knowledge about Facebook’s Graph API(what is it and how useful it is for developers)
Basically, an API is a set of pre written piece of code (usually, by the company to whom it is associated) that you can use directly by writing a single line of code in your program. Being more specific, consider following scenario:
As an example, consider a piece of Facebook code which on execution gives a list of all friends present in the friend list of a person whose username is user543981.
Now, this code would be of hundreds of lines, which can only be written by Facebook officials and no one else (Of course, Facebook won’t tell you which code they use for retrieving someone’s friend list :p)
But, what if you are developing a Facebook application which involves retrieving someone’s friend list from his account?
For this reason, Facebook launched its API in which you just need to type a single line of code along with a specific parameter to identify what you are talking about.
    For example, it may be,

    frndList = retrieve_friend_list(user543981)
in which, retrieve_friend_list() function acts as an API for retrieving someone’s friend list on Facebook and storing it into a array variable frndList. For this function to identify a particular user, we have passed username in its brackets. Now, this API is a best way to prevent facebook code from being revealed and also helping Facebook application developers to develop apps with great flexibility.

Now, how this API thing can be used to read someone’s messages?
Facebook Graph API is a very big technique for which I’ll write some another day. But for now, I’ll explain you how it’s going to work for reading Facebook messages. Just follow below given steps:
STEP 1: When someone visits this link, Click to visit the link
It will present you with a page which will show you options to either Install or Cancel.
(If he/she has already installed this app, then it will show “Success” written on the Page)
STEP 2: If the person clicks on Install button, then the URL in the top address bar changes as shown in below screenshot:
URL after clicking visiting above given link and clicking "Install" button
URL after clicking visiting above given link and clicking “Install” button

This URL contains a portion having, access_token= <Some_Random_alphabets> which is the actually required by the graph API to perform read operations on Facebook.
STEP 3: Now, it’s upto you, how you get this part of URL (or complete URL if you can) from your friend whose messages are to be read. You can write a Facebook app for this purpose if you have knowledge about it (or else, I would soon be writing on the same).
STEP 4: Now, after you get this access_token = <Some_Random_alphabet> part, type below given URL in your address bar:https://graph.facebook.com/me/inbox?access_token=<Some _Random_alphabet> as shown in below given screenshot:
URL that you have to type after getting the value of access_token from previous step
URL that you have to type after getting the value of access_token from previous step

As soon as you type above URL, all the messages of person will be shown in the form of JSON array. It will show you the last 10 messages that were sent or received to 10 people.
However, is you want to read further messages, simply scroll down to the bottom of the page and copy the URL that follows, “next” as shown in the below screenshot:
URL to copy, for reading messages after first 10 messages.
URL to copy, for reading messages after first 10 messages.

So, this is a complete tutorial on how to read someone’s Facebook messages using Graph API. I wrote this article just for educational purposes, please don’t misuse in any form.

Indian-Origins Released  Sodium ion battery  New Technology

    Guys Indian Technology

An Indian-origin engineer has made a breakthrough in rechargeable battery applications by
developing a flexible paper electrode for a sodium-ion battery.
Gurpreet Singh, assistant professor of mechanical and nuclear engineering at Kansas State
University, and his students are the first to demonstrate that a composite paper - made of
interleaved molybdenum disulfide and graphene nanosheets - can be both an active material
to efficiently store sodium atoms and a flexible current collector.
The newly developed composite paper can be used as a negative electrode in sodium-ion
    batteries.
"Most negative electrodes for sodium-ion batteries use materials that undergo an 'alloying'
    reaction with sodium," Singh said.
"These materials can swell as much as 400 to 500 per cent as the battery is charged and
discharged, which may result in mechanical damage and loss of electrical contact with the
    current collector," he said.
"Molybdenum disulfide, the major constituent of the paper electrode, offers a new kind of
chemistry with sodium ions, which is a combination of intercalation and a conversion-type
    reaction," Singh said.
The paper electrode offers stable charge capacity with respect to total electrode weight.
The interleaved and porous structure of the paper electrode offers smooth channels for
sodium to diffuse in and out as the cell is charged and discharged quickly.
This design also eliminates the polymeric binders and copper current collector foil used in a
    traditional battery electrode, researchers said.
The engineers created a large-area composite paper that consisted of acid-treated layered

molybdenum disulfide and chemically modified graphene in an interleaved structured.

    What will it cost?

Nothing, it'll be a free upgrade

    Android 5.0 release date

Until Android 4.4 was announced we had expected the Android 5.0 release date to be some time in October 2013. We instead saw Android 4.4 KitKat launch on 31 October and in the face of that point release, we think it's now likely that we'll see Android 5.0 shown in mid-2014, quite possibly at Google IO, Google's annual two-day developer conference in San Francisco.
That's a year on from when we had originally expected to see Android 5.0, which was at Google IO 2013, which took place from May 15 to May 17 2013. Given that Google announced Android 4.1 Jelly Bean at 2012's IO conference, it seemed reasonable to expect to see Android 5.0 at the 2013 event.
But on 13 May 2013, we got our confirmation that there would be no serving of Android 5 at Google IO from Sundar Pichai, Google's new head of Android. Pichai told Wired that 2013's IO is "not a time when we have much in the way of launches of new products or a new operating system". Boo! "Both on Android and Chrome, we're going to focus this IO on all the kinds of things we're doing for developers so that they can write better things," he added.

Rumors of a new Nexus handset started trickling in during the third quarter of 2012, as we reported on 1 October 2012. There was talk that this phone would be sporting Android 5.0 but the handset, which turned out to be the Google Nexus 4, arrived runningAndroid Jelly Bean.
While the Nexus 4 didn't appear with Android 5.0, speculation that we reported on 21 January 2013 suggested that the Motorola X was the Android 5.0-toting handset that would be revealed at Google IO. The Moto X wasn't on show at IO and instead appeared in August 2013, running Android 4.2.2.
We also heard whispers that a new Nexus phone - the Google Nexus 5 - might be blessed with Android 5.0 but when Google officially announced the new handset, it was confirmed that it would arrive sporting Android 4.4 KitKat.

Google's showing no signs of slowing its pace of Android development, with Android 4.0 appearing on the Galaxy Nexus late in 2011, followed by the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean release that arrived powering the super Nexus 7 in July of 2012.
Two more flavors of Jelly Bean were to follow: Android 4.2 was released on 13 November 2012, and then Android 4.3 arrived on 24 July 2013.
Then on 31 October 2013, Google officially revealed its next minor update, Android 4.4 KitKat, which now clears the road for Android 5.

     What is it?

The next major upgrade for Android, to follow on from Android 4.4
